WESTFIELD, NJ — In the season finale of NBC’s “George to the Rescue,” airing this weekend, Westfield decorator Amre Griffin was asked to help a New Jersey family in need by redecorating a room shared by three teenage girls.

For supplies, Griffin turned to Ella Allure Design Center in Downtown Westfield, where she shops regularly for window treatments and upholstery for her design projects. Daniela Palumbo, Ella Allure’s owner and principal designer, gladly donated fabric and window treatments.

“Being featured on the show was a really big compliment,” said Palumbo, who participated in the shoot earlier this month. “I’m glad we were able to help.”

Catch the episode on NBC locally at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2.
